If you’re a design and/or cool T-shirt geek, you’re probably familiar with Threadless, “a community-centered online t-shirt store” where “users (professional illustrators and amateurs alike) may submit t-shirt designs online, which are then put to a public vote. A small percentage of submissions are selected to be printed and sold through the online store. Creators of the winning designs receive a cash prize” (so says the Wikipedia entry on the site).

I’ve ordered stuff on there for family friends but even when not shopping I like to check out the artwork. There isn’t much there for the horror crowd, really, but zombies are a recurring theme. I’ve picked out all the zombie-themed designs that are currently available or out of print. Shirts are regularly reprinted, so if you like one that’s out of print, make a request through the site and they’ll email you when it’s available again.

My personal favourites are the “Zombie Donkey” and “THIS is How the World Ends” — awesome! Hopefully I’ll snag one when my size goes back in print. Two grave-withered thumbs up.

Update!
Speaking of gruesome shirts, check out this hilarious death-by-Wii T linked off of boingboing today.
