Illustration of a Phantom Stranger

on February 6, 2008 | 2 Comments

Here’s a sneak peek at a full page illustration of Rob Zombie appearing in an upcoming issue of Revolver Magazine. It’s going into their monthly “Going Postal” column, where rock stars answer fan mail. I’ve been a huge fan of Zombie’s music and art ever since “La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol. 1″ made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, so I was crazy not to say “Yee-aaah!” and give it a shot. There’s a second spot drawing to go with the article, but you’ll have to check out the issue to see it when it hits stands next month!

Damn, G, in one image you remind us why the man is a horror icon. Awesome illustration; I love the bats carrying the letters, the bloody package and that grave-dusted look you gave him.

Any chance you can come up with a drawing that somehow unmakes all of his movies?
