Chucky Fans Get Lucky
Got the following email today from the crew at Icons of Fright, announcing that they’ve rectified the lack of a director’s commentary on the new 20th anniversary Child’s Play DVD release. And they’ve done it for free. Nice work, guys!

Last week, MGM put out the CHILD’S PLAY DVD as a new special edition dubbed “CHUCKY’S 20TH BIRTHDAY EDITION”. Notably absent from the release was the presence of director Tom Holland that… for whatever reason the powers that be decided not to ask him to take part.
ICONS OF FRIGHT however asked if he’d be willing to do a director’s commentary for CHILD’S PLAY since the fans deserve one. And sure enough, he was more then happy to provide us with it.
Fans can now download a FREE MP3 director’s commentary track for CHILD’S PLAY, moderated by filmmaker and new ICONS staffer Tim Sullivan at the following link:

We encourage you to send people over to the above link. Sullivan will continue this tradition with more “pirate” commentaries via his SHOCK N ROLL column, exclusively on ICONS OF FRIGHT. On queue are 2 audio commentary tracks for FRIGHT NIGHT due next week.
