About Bloody Time!

OK, yeah, it’s been forever since a post, but we’ve been run a little ragged as of late and, well, things fall to the wayside… So, let’s revive this here blog with a post about My Bloody Valentine. Last week’s CineMacabre MBV reunion was a huge success. The audience, staff at The Bloor and our cast and crew guests were all amazing. The night ended at about two a.m. as the last fans met the cast and crew and grabbed autographs. We had people come in from as far away as Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Montreal. And cast member Alf Humphreys even flew himself in from Vancouver! That is loooove, people.

If you couldn’t make it, or you’d like a recap, a video of the Q&A – recorded by none other than The Gore-met (thanks, man!) – is online. It’s posted in seven parts on his YouTube page.

Also, here’s the preview article that the Toronto Star ran on the night, written by our Canuck horror expert Paul Corupe.

And a piece that BlogTO ran about MBV and the CineMacabre nights in general.

In addition, you can hit the Rue Morgue message boards to chat about the night or see some pics here (hopefully there are some up by the time you read this). Or see what some folks were saying over at HorrorDVDs.com.

Finally, Kristal Cooper over at TheReelAddict.com gave her impressions.

Thanks again to everyone who came out for making it such a killer night. [note: this pun was approved by Harry Warden himself.]

Watched all the videos already and they are great! As always, I wish I could have been there.

    Glad you’re back!
