None other than José Mojica Marins, a.k.a. Coffin Joe, visited the Rue Morgue offices today to spend the afternoon cursing the heavens, embracing the heathens and heaving black magic across our desks. Well, that and he did some interviews, signed some autographs, drank some wine and posed for pictures. As anyone lucky enough to be at last night’s screening here in Toronto with CJ in attendance can tell ya, the man is intense. (See that thumb nail? It ain’t fake.) With that black wardrobe, awesome beard and wicked snarl, he fit right in. It was an honour to host this icon of horror cinema.
