Unearth Join 14th Annual New England Metal And Hardcore Festival

If you’re a metal fan within driving distance of Worcester, Massachusetts, please tell us you’ve knocked out one of your own teeth and put it under your pillow in hopes of scoring tickets to The 14th Annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival from The Concert Fairy.

Not that you need to, considering tickets are so reasonable. Okay, so Unearth has just been announced as the latest addition, which is totally tits, but check out this lineup already:

Friday, April 20: The Black Dahlia Murder, The Acacia Strain, Oceano (final show), All Shall Perish, Nile, Skeletonwitch, Carnifex, Death Threat, Lionheart, First Blood, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Molotov Solution, The Contortionist, Conducting From The Grave, Gaza, Reign Supreme, Fit For An Autopsy, CDC, This Is Hell, Incendiary, Palehorse, FocusedXMinds, Legion, Hour of Penance, Rude Awakening, and Longshot.

Saturday, April 21: All That Remains, DragonForce, Overkill, Protest the Hero, Unearth, Iwrestledabearonce, Periphery, Bane, 100 Demons, Cruel Hand, Holy Grail, Shipwreck, God Forbid, Structures, The Mongoloids, Naysayer, Rotting Out, Elitist, Expire, The Greenery, Cockpunch, Hung, Revenge, Diamond Plate, Wrong Answer, Manners, Suidakra, and Trumpet The Harlot.

Sunday, April 22: Killswitch Engage, Every Time I Die, Vanna, For Today, Sleeping Giant, Chelsea Grin, Stick to Your Guns, Attila, MyChildren MyBride, For the Fallen Dreams, On Broken Wings, Recon, Texas In July, In the Midst of Lions, Upon a Burning Body, Like Moths To Flames, Volumes, Hundreth, No Bragging Rights, Glass Cloud, Counterparts, Gideon, The Air I Breathe, and Fire in the Skies.

This is all going down at the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, that is if it isn’t reduced to smoking rubble after the first night. Tickets are on sale now and $40 (Friday), $45 (Saturday), and $40 (Sunday) or $115 (three-day pass). Two special VIP fan packages are also being offered through Sound Rink.

    This line up is a reminder that I’m out of touch with current metal and hardcore scene. I’ve never even heard of about 3/4 of these bands!
