Rue Morgue Cinema’s The Demonology of Desire, written and directed by RM head ghoul Rodrigo Gudiño, will screen this Wednesday as part of Latin Horror’s CINCO DE MIEDO (“Fifth of Fear”) program in New York City.

The event runs from 5:30 to 9:45 pm on Wednesday, May 2 at Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Avenue at Second Street, Lower East Side, NYC). Admission is just $6 at the box office. Several short films are on the schedule, leading up to a screening of the nutso Argentinean thriller Cold Sweat. They’re even serving complimentary Margaritas and h’orderves in the theater’s lobby from 5:30 to 7pm. It could only get better if the spirit of Santo himself showed up to wrestle some vampire ladies. (I’m pretty sure that won’t happen, but strange things go down when Rodrigo’s films are shown, so I’m not completely ruling it out.)
