First Housecore Horror Film & Metal Festival Announced
Housecore Records’ owner and metal frontman, Phil Anselmo (Down, Pantera) and best-selling true crime author, Corey Mitchell (Hollywood Death Scenes, Dead and Buried) are teaming up to launch a three-day horror film and metal music festival, set to take place this October at Emo’s complex, East Austen, Texas.
While details are still in their early stages, confirmed special guests include directors Jörg Buttgereit (Nekromantik) and Jim VanBebber (The Manson Family), as well as musical headliners Down, Crowbar and Anselmo’s newest project, Phillip H. Anselmo & The Illegals.
Film festival submissions are now open though withoutabox. Tickets are on sale for $149 set to go up to $199 March 20). Stay tuned to the HHFF’s official site for announcements, guest updates and further details.
