Rodney Ascher, the man behind the awesomely trippy Shining documentary Room 237, takes us down an entirely different rabbit hole with his wicked new short film The S From Hell. Here’s what the folks at the Sundance Institute have to say about it:

“The S From Hell, a short film from award-winning director Rodney Ascher (Room 237), explores the disturbing saga of the scariest corporate symbol in history: the 1964 Screen Gems logo, aka the ‘S from Hell.’ This documentary-cum-horror film features interviews with survivors still affected by viewing the logo after shows like Bewitched or The Monkees, found footage, and reenactments to bring their harrowing stories to life. Just keep telling yourself, ‘It’s only a logo!’ and watch the full short below…”
