A One-Gunn Salute to Rue Morgue !

In my ongoing quest to procrastinate, I decided to work up a post about Slither, so I checked out Slither writer/director James Gunn’s MySpace page. The dude is hilarious, and I recommend reading his blog entries, especially if you’re a fan of his work, as there are all kinds of pics and bits of info about stuff related to his films. I was going through his posts, when lo and behold I found this one, along with a nice big image of the current Jan/Feb issue.

“So I just received the newest copy of RUE MORGUE magazine to see it named SLiTHER the best feature film of 2006! In addition, the members of the RUE MORGUE message board also named SLiTHER the best film of the year, and the magazine named the Brenda-blob-explosion as the BEST DEATH SCENE OF THE YEAR. RUE MORGUE is a magazine I truly respect, and I’m honored.”

He also captioned the cover image: “The world’s smartest magazine.”
