It’s Pronounced Yo-Van-Ka
While it was lovely to meet so many horror fans at the recent Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in Burbank, CA, I noticed many of you aren’t aware that my name is pronounced with a “Y” and not a “J”. For the record, it’s “Yo-Van-Ka”. I know it’s confusing, but it’s not my fault, I’m from Serbia.
Thanks, pics of my recent LA trip to follow.
The same weekend we made sure to visit some friends. Here we are sharing a Phantasmeal with Gigi Bannister, Angus Scrimm, Don Coscarelli and Reggie “The Ice Cream Man” Bannister. I love the Phantasm family. They’re such great people.

While in town I stopped by Fango twice to support my friend Tony. It was an incredbile turn-out, sold out on Saturday. Next year they’re moving to the LA convention centre. It’s great to see so many people supporting the genre. Keep it up, kids!

As always, I stayed with my good friend Spooky Dan (the coolest Goth guy I know). Here we are with artist Peter Mihaichuk . You should check out his website.

While I’m at it, here’s a photo of my retarded Pug, Godzilla.

Aaaand a shot of the Deadly Spawn for spice!

How does the Jess Franco world do with it?

Europeans often use the same principle, so they get it right most of the time.

I always secretly knew that was how your name was pronounced. But if I ever met you in person I’d still ask to be sure.
