Holiday With Supergator

Holidays are finally here for the Rue Crew and I’m off to Hawaii tomorrow morning to soak up some sun, see the sights, hit the beach, and, if all goes well, fight Supergator. If you’re wondering who or what Supergator might be, watch the above trailer for the new-ish Roger Corman-produced flick of the same name, which was shot in Hawaii. As you can see, Top Gun didn’t do much for Kelly McGillis’ career and low budgets don’t do much for CG effects. Yow!

Anyhow, I’ve decided to not take my laptop, so the blog may be a little light in the coming weeks, and if you’re looking for me via email, it may be a little while before I can respond. I’ll try to hit an Internet cafe and use some sort of Gilligan’s Island-style bamboo computer, but who knows.

After I square off with the reptilian beastie, I’ll be heading back to cold climes of Alberta to see friends and family for Christmas (everyone should expect a pair of Supergator skin boots, by the way); if I don’t check in the next while, or I get eaten, I hope you all have a good holiday.
