The Miala “Vampira” Nurmi Memorial Fund

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Dana Gould, Gabrielle Geiselman, and Piggy D., a memorial fund has been established in tribute to the late Maila “Vampira” Nurmi. Generous donations have helped secure her a final resting place in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and also provided assistance to homeless animals through the Best Friends Animal Society, North America’s largest animal sanctuary.

The Maila Nurmi Memorial Fund also hopes to raise funds for a memorial statue to be placed alongside Maila’s resting place at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. I would very much like to see their goal achieved. Please donate to this noble cause, in tribute to a venerated genre icon.
