Web Site Offers to Ruin People's Lives for $20 a Month (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,293097,00.html)
This is scary stuff.

I fucking love this.
Too bad many of the services are illegal.
I can think of more than one person I'd love to destroy for legitimate reasons, and not schoolyard antics crap.
I can be pretty vindictive and creative myself if push comes to shove that way, but $20.00 to go full-force out is priceless.

I have seen revenge sites before but this takes it way too far. It is totally illegal and looks like it is hosted in a country that either allows it or won't do anything about it.

Illegal or not, you gotta admit that's a good price.

Yeah if they aren't ripping you off. The only person I would do anything to would be my old boss because he is a piece of shit and he went out of his way to ruin peoples lives at work. He already got what was coming to him. They transfered him out to very expensive southern California. It took him over a year to sell his house so he had to pay rent and a mortgage at the same time. Then his wife left him probalby because he was cheating on her all the time, and then they fired him because he was a shitty manager.

I have found that if you just leave well enough alone, bad people will eventually destory themselves without help from anyone or anything else. I once dated an unfaithful & extremely abusive man with an equally abusive family for almost three years. A few years after breaking up with him, he managed to loose his high-paying job of 15 years, his lawn mowing business that he had pretty much invested everything in, and now he's sitting in jail cell with colon cancer serving time for wreckless homicide. Seriously.
And I didn't have to do a damned thing except sit back and watch. He did it all to himself. Besides, there are worse things that people can do to themselves than destroy their credit (which my ex also did, all by himself).

I think the biggest problem is the price. For twenty a month your gonna get shoddy work, for twenty grand you should get your money's worth...
Okay, before anyone get's pissed, lemme explain.
Vengance, ruining a person's life is not as easy as you think. It involves a lot of planning, take away his family, his work, his home.
For twenty dollars I expect the occasional slashed tire, some crazy glue in his door locks, maybe even some complaints at the place of employment, at best.
For twenty grand, the guy/gal should have to start over. this isn't killing this is ruining their lives, job lost, family left him/her, car gone... Left with nothing, and all should look like his own fault.
Why?
Twenty dollars is something that everyone with a beef or minor gripe or simply a twisted sense of humor can afford.
Twenty Grand? That's a commitment that strips away any frivolous notions or momentary grudges... To save up that much and toss it away, That eliminates the victims who probably just had a bad day and leaves only those who truly deserve it.
In fact the price should be a few dollars more than the person who wants it done makes in a year... gross earnings. That way it has to be serious.
If somebody is willing to pay that much. The reason is probably justifiable.
Consider, a doctor misdiagnoses you with AIDS you spend six months, a year considering your own mortality, re'evaluating everything you think you know, calling all the people you've been close with and asking them to get tested.
This quack makes a mistake and your life falls apart, when you go to them, having another test, and he shrugs and says, well, looks like it's all right now?
Substitute that for; Breast Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, any frigging Cancer, an STD.
Perhaps you or someone you love is brutalized or raped and the perp walks on a technical?
Someone gets screwed, and has to repair the damage the rest of their lives, and the culprit gets off with less than a slap. Perhaps a bit of cold served vengance is warrented?
Perhaps. Is all I'm saying.
Then at least make it expensive so that only those who truly, want it! Will work hard enough to get it.
Cause twenty dollars ain't enough to ruin somebody's life.
Thats my point.

In all seriousness, I have a pretty shrewd idea of a particular schmuck who's probably reading this and considering it.

At first glance this seems funny, but it really is horrible.
I've despised (and despise) many people in my life, but a guilt free brick to the head would be far more rewarding than ruining them financially. I'm not a 'karma' person, but staying away from financial matters when it comes to revenge is probably best.

Thank you for clarifying that at the end. 'Cuz with all that other stuff before it I wasn't sure where you were going.

Sorry I tend to ramble...
My main goal was not to justify vengeance, but to illustrate that there must be a cost, while admiting that yes, some people may deserve it, but the person who decides to act, must be willing to make a heavy commitment.
99.9 percent of us will back down if it's not easy to do. That .01 percent that literally has to do it.
Well... Some people get away with ruining the lives of others, then somebody is paybacking them, and it goes on and on.
What's the old saying about first digging two graves before setting out for revenge?
My beef is that the ad was too damn flippant.
Sometimes horrible things happen, who know's how we will react?
Neither Endorse nor condemn... Just trying to clarify the gravity of such a thing to consider...

oh fox news, the best at creating hysteria over nothing. they list only one story that appears to be real and a whole lot of what the site supposedly offers. i can point to way too many sites purporting to make my penis bigger, get a college education, make millions etc. etc. and they all have pages of testimonials. this whole "the internet is the wild west" is just old school people who don't understand it freaking out. sure, there are illegal things offered and sometimes actually done online but guess what? they happen outside of it all of the time just as much. scary. eh? ;)

Send your complaints to Tom from Myspace. We can do nothing about it here. And anymore of you posting this bullshit will get deleted.

...jeez, even the floating meme of this website existing is *toxic*. It's only a thread in THE BIN, but it's already ruined afternoons and mornings and even outlooks for some people lasting into days. Maybe this website should be left for people with senses of humor strange enough to handle the emotional weirdness it'll bring on. Say, the Subgenii or the Discordians. What do you think?

You weren't the only one apparently.

Oh believe me, I saved it all with the idea (and due sense of dread) that some day it may come in handy for that very reason.
