Yeah I think a couple of them are the Harakiri films mentioned above but there are some like the one with the bandaged woman that I know is not part of the six mentioned. Plus there are definitely more then 6 because each of the 4 boxes looks to have 2-to-4 movies on them.

With regard to the pages linked to below, viewer discretion is advised.
Except where otherwise noted, the seven Onna harakiri sakuhinshû DVDs are comprised of Right Brain (RB) and Gen'ei Ryodan (GEN) movies that were part of Fuji Kikaku's "Zankoku-bi: onna harakiri" VHS collection.
Onna harakiri sakuhinshû I (AH-01) contains Onna harakiri: sange (RB-01), starring Yûri Sunohara, and Jogakusei: harakiri (RB-04), starring Hiromi Saotome.
Onna harakiri sakuhinshû II (AH-02) contains Onna harakiri: seisan (RB-06), starring Yûri Sunohara, and Shiro-shôzoku: harakiri (RB-08), starring Hiromi Saotome.
Onna harakiri sakuhinshû III (AH-03) contains Masami 'Merzbow' Akita's Lost Paradise ( 'Shitsurakuen': jôbafuku onna harakiri - RB-09), starring Asako Mochizuki, and Bijo kenshi: futari seppuku (RB-10), starring Yûri Sunohara and Hiromi Saotome. Sunohara, Toshirô Hasegawa, and Kinbiken (Kinbaku-Bi Kenkyûkai) co-founder Chimuo Nureki appear briefly in Lost Paradise, at the end of the movie. Akita also scored the movie. The cinematographer for it was Fuji Kikaku founder and Kinbiken co-founder Akio Fuji. Fuji and Nureki were also responsible for its special make-up effects. Lost Paradise is the only harakiri movie to date that Akita has directed.
Onna harakiri sakuhinshû IV (AH-04) contains Nyotai harakiri emaki · 1: yokushitsu no jigyaku gensô · 2: Aiko - sakura chiru (GEN-008), and Romain Slocombe's L'étudiante blessée ( Kega shita joshidaisei) & Masami Akita's Hôtai kaibô onna (both GEN-003). GEN-003 was part of Fuji Kikaku's "Bizarre" VHS collection - neither Slocombe's nor Akita's movie is a harakiri one.
Onna harakiri sakuhinshû V (AH-05) contains Sacrifice: A Carnival of The Holyghost [sic] ( Ikenie: seirei-tachi no shanikusai - GEN-014), starring Yûri Sunohara, and Nyotai harakiri emaki 2: muma no yûwaku (GEN-015), starring Mariko Momokawa.
Onna harakiri sakuhinshû VI (AH-06) contains Tamaki-zôshi (GEN-016), starring Yûri Sunohara, and Nyotai harakiri emaki 3: miwaku no hakujin (GEN-017), starring Tsubaki Kanda.
Onna harakiri sakuhinshû VII (AH-07) contains Saotome Hiromi: onna harakiri · "tsumetai yoru" yori · Nakayasu Hiromichi ni sasageru (GEN-18-[alpha]), starring Hiromi Saotome, and Nyotai harakiri emaki 4: Sahoko no natsu - ai no mukuro (GEN-019), starring Hitomi Takamizawa.

I apologize, I'm a little confused, I wish I knew Japanese then I might be able to better understand, I'm very interested in these though so hopefully you can help me list these individually so I can try to find more information about each of them seperately. Am I understanding this correctly?:
Part 1 contains 2 movies:
1. Jogakusei - Harakiri
2. Onna Harakiri - Sangre
Part 2 contains 2 movies:
1. Onna Harakiri - Seisan
2. Shiro Shozoku - Harakiri
Part 3 contains 2 movies:
1. Lost Paradise
2. Bijo Kenshi Futari - Seppuku
These are the six Harakiri films I had listed above originally, I cannot find any information on the imdb regarding the following 13 below, so I may have written them incorrectly.
Is this right?:
Part 4 contains 5 movies:
1. Nyotai harakiri emaki
2. yokushitsu no jigyaku gensô
3. Aiko - sakura chiru
4. Romain Slocombe's "L'étudiante blessée"
5. Masami Akita's "Hôtai kaibô onna"
Part 5 contains 2 movies:
1. Sacrifice - A Carnival of The Holyghost
2. Nyotai harakiri emaki 2 - Muma no Yûwaku
Part 6 contains 2 movies:
1. Tamaki-Zôshi
2. Nyotai Harakiri Emaki 3 - Miwaku no Hakujin
Part 7 contains 4 movies:
1. Saotome Hiromi: Onna Harakiri
2. "Tsumetai yoru" yori
3. Nakayasu Hiromichi ni sasageru
4. Nyotai harakiri emaki 4: Sahoko no natsu - ai no mukuro
Sorry for the trouble Gomorrahozer, myself and several others here I'm sure would be very interesed to find out any further information.
Thank you for your time!

Tim, I've seen Lost Paradise (1990) and the two Onna Harakiri films. They all depict a very graphic suicide in a different time and setting in history. For the arthouse avant garde crowd they may contain some artistic style, and for the gorehound they are certainly bloody, but once you've seen a couple you've seen the entire series.
That bandaged woman on the boxart looks like she could be from GirlHell, a film that's listed on the Hiroshima website. Yes, it's a pretty good one and it's also the first onscreen appearance of Tadanobu Asano who's plays a convincing rapist thug.

The Onna harakiri sakuhinshû IV DVD contains three movies; the six other DVDs contain two movies each. Nyotai harakiri emaki · 1: yokushitsu no jigyaku gensô · 2: Aiko - sakura chiru is a single movie, as is Saotome Hiromi: onna harakiri · "tsumetai yoru" yori · Nakayasu Hiromichi ni sasageru.
The "bandaged woman" in question is in Romain Slocombe's L'étudiante blessée ( Kega shita joshidaisei).
Girl Hell 1999 (Shôjo jigoku ichi kyû kyû kyû) was directed by Daisuke Yamanouchi. It was released on VHS (F158JF-166) in Japan by Japan Video Distribution (JVD K.K. / K.K. Jei Bui Dî) on October 8, 1999, and on DVD (ADE-0624) there by Ace Deuce Entertainment K.K. (K.K. Êsu Dyûsu Entateinmento) on February 22, 2006. Tadanobu Asano isn't in it.

Yes, I've seen:
Lost Paradise (1990), Bijo Kenshi Futari - Seppuku, Shiro Shozoku - Harakiri, Jogakusei: Harakiri, Onna Harakiri - Sangre, Onna Harakiri: Seisan
and Daisuke Yamanouchi's Girl Hell, (it's not that btw).
Very intriuging stuff, the Japanese seem pretty damn repressed sometimes.

Supposedly the new box set only gives you the first six films, I wish somebody would release a collection with all 15 included.

On perhaps a more artistic note for Hari-kari lovers Criterion just put out what was once considered a lost film Yûkoku/Patriotism (1966). I have only read great things about this suicide note/film. I have a copy of it at home and plan on watching this week. I'd love to hear what u think of it Tim.

I do not believe it is available on dvd. You might be able to find a VHS out there somewhere. If I'm wrong please someone correct me.
