I dunno...but it was probably a good thing she did.

Along with the Bruce LaBruce interview, this is definitely the heaviest PORN oriented show we've ever done.

Maybe we'll have to do something to cleanse our palette from all these wicked thoughts.

I dunno, maybe a Zelda Rubinstein tribute or something?

Another solid outing, gang.
Great interview with LaBruce. Not usually a fan of his stuff ( it's not a gay thing, either - just usually can't connect with his films), but OTTO might be worth a look. The more Canadian Horror we can support, the better. As a side note, if Barker is ever looking for a director for HUMAN REMAINS, LaBruce might be worth a look-see.

Any chance to hear from Sarah Sin is always a plus, so no complaints from me.

Caustic Critics - well, nuff said. Very funny stuff.

Another solid music mix, including The Headstones AND Oingo Boingo (hooray!) right out of the gate. Capital work, gents.

I checked out the trailer for Otto, and frankly, I thought it was very poor. It's not really about the gay themes, either. A zombie porn as derivative and pointless as this one is pretty much the death knell for the genre. Until it resurrects, of course.

But that said, I think it's awesome that the show covered it. The funny thing about Rue Morgue Radio for me is that I listen to it religiously every Friday after work, and by Saturday morning I realize I drank too much to remember most of it. All I know is that I had a great time, and the overall production values and tone of the show is just so top notch.

So my biggest complaint? Stop making me have so much fun!

That's cool, but I think lots of filmmakers work an idea into the genre to make it "relevant", and it's been done to death. I'm not talking about the interview, which was interesting. But come on, zombies as pets, zombies as real people with real problems, zombies as freakin' Jesus––how can you not find Otto derivative?
