On this episode of The Rue Morgue Podcast, I’m joined by writer/director & producer David Gregory, one of the masterminds behind the celebrated DVD imprint SEVERIN FILMS.

With over 100 directorial credits to date, Mr. Gregory is one of the true pioneers of the feature length ‘behind the scenes’ making of documentary that accompanies many a home video reissue of classic films.

He’s responsible for such standouts in the genre as THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE SHOCKING TRUTH, THE JOE SPINELL STORY, THE WICKERMAN ENIGMA and dozens and dozens more.

In recent years, he’s ventured into the realm of narrative filmmaking with his first feature PLAGUE TOWN (2008) and a segment of the Horror Anthology THE THEATRE BIZARRE entitled SWEETS featuring a cameo from cult favourite Lynn Lowry.

Larry Cohen added to Sci-Fi Spectacular 6 lineup

Cult auteur Larry Cohen has been added to the lineup of Sci-Fi Spectacular 6, coming up this weekend in Chicago. Cohen will join Night of the Comet star Kelli Maroney at the April 28 event, which will feature fourteen hours of cult sci-fi and horror flickage.
