Ozploitation fans will pig out when Australia’s Umbrella Entertainment issues the giant-killer-boar classic RAZORBACK on all-region Blu-ray this summer. Read on for the details and early (not final) cover art.

Umbrella releases the hi-def RAZORBACK disc August 1 as part of its Beyond Genres line. The feature directorial debut of Russell Mulcahy, scripted by Down Under genre stalwart Everett De Roche from Peter Brennan’s novel, RAZORBACK stars Gregory Harrison, Arkie Whiteley (THE ROAD WARRIOR) and Bill Kerr in the story of a huge, bloodthirsty porker terrorizing the Outback (gorgeously filmed by Oscar-winning cinematographer Dean Semler). The Blu-ray will sport an all-new 1080p widescreen transfer from a 4K scan, with DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio and original special features to be announced.
