After its enormous box-office success ($188 million in the U.S. and over $144 million overseas), it was inevitable that A QUIET PLACE would be sequelized, and now there’s a release berth for the follow-up.

Variety reports that Paramount Pictures will release the QUIET PLACE sequel May 15, 2020. John Krasinski, who directed, co-scripted and starred in the original, is currently writing the new film.

No other details have been released, including whether the surviving cast from QUIET PLACE will take part in the next chapter.
