After knocking out festival audiences with short films like THE SEPARATION, BOBBY YEAH and BELIAL’S DREAM, as well as a segment of ABCs OF DEATH 2 (pictured), the award-winning filmmaker is doing a full-length feature named for his craft.

Deadline reports that Robert Morgan will direct STOPMOTION from a script he wrote with Robin King. Aisling Franciosi (THE NIGHTINGALE) will star in the movie; according to the site, she’ll play “Ella Blake, a stop-motion animator struggling to control her demons after the loss of her overbearing mother, who embarks upon the creation of a film that becomes the battleground for her sanity. As Ella’s mind starts to fracture, the characters in her project take on a life of their own.” We can’t wait to see Morgan bring his unique talents to the feature form; London-based BlueLight is producing, and Wild Bunch International is handling sales.
