Ben Wheatley’s “IN THE EARTH” has a date to go out into the world, and a poster

The latest by the cult British filmmaker is set to freak out a wide audience.

Neon has announced that it will release IN THE EARTH to theaters April 30. Written and directed by Ben Wheatley (KILL LIST, HIGH-RISE) and shot during the pandemic, it stars Joel Fry, Ellora Torchia Reece Shearsmith and Hayley Squires. The synopsis: “As the world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus, a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.” See our review of IN THE EARTH here.
