The title suggests a military actioner, but there’s a horrific side to BLACK OPS, which goes into release this summer.

Samuel Goldwyn Films will release BLACK OPS, written and directed by Tom Paton (BLACK SITE), on June 12. Previously titled THE ASCENT and STAIRS, it stars Shayne Ward, Toby Osmond, Simon Meacock, Bentley Kalu, Rachel Warren and Samantha Schnitzler. According to the official synopsis, the film “follows a black ops team who find themselves trapped in a terrifying, never-ending stairwell. Forced to climb or die, the group soon come face to face with their past sins in a desperate fight for survival.”
