Butch X Gets Creepy With His Limited Edition Vinyl Art Toy

Sunday, October 27, 2019 | Sunday, Bloody, Funday

Artist Butch X has launched his all original and thrilling limited-edition Haunt Nola “Crescent City Creeper” Voodoo Doll. This toy is based on a character Butch created as a pseudo mascot for his Haunt Nola gallery. The character came to be after Mr. X created a story which featured “The Crescent City Creeper,” here’s a excerpt from the story:

“Every night in New Orleans thousands of people celebrate the night away getting wasted walking through the sketchy French quarter streets, many of them are never seen again, night after night haunted tour guides tell stories to the tourist that are hungry for spooky, voodoo history or even to take a photo of a spirit / ghost, what the haunt guides fail to tell them is where the smells throughout the streets are coming from, under this city lies countless skeleton remains, the remains of people missing dating back hundreds of years, there’s a framed paper I’ve seen amongst tons of other stuff on the wall in the oldest bar of the quarter, it’s faded away over the years but still visible you can make out something about an innocent homeless man hung etc. and the headline says DEMON ON DUMAINE… this is the story of the Crescent City Creeper” – Butch X

This limited first run of 250 figures is created from hard vinyl and stands 4.75 inches tall. The eerie Creeper sports a sculpted voodoo style necklace, black wardrobe with sculpted button eyes is $25 USD (for doll only) plus shipping. Right now, Butch X is holding a contest for anyone who wants to enter (outside of America are welcome too).

“Grab a creeper from butchovision.com to enter and win up to $500 off the site by taking the wildest no rules photo of the creeper in any environment or doing anything, tag @butchovision @hauntnola and use the hashtag #creepacrossamerica.” Head over to the Haunt Nola Facebook account for more information on contest details and prizes.
