The film that has shocked festival audiences and graced the cover of our issue #180 earlier this year is now set to blow away a wider audience. Read on for the release details of writer/director Coralie Fargeat’s REVENGE.

Shudder and Neon have announced that REVENGE will arrive in theaters and on VOD May 11. The film stars Matilda Lutz, Kevin Janssens, Vincent Colombe and Guillaume Bouchède; the synopsis: “Jen [Lutz] is enjoying a romantic getaway with her wealthy boyfriend which is suddenly disrupted when his sleazy friends arrive for an unannounced hunting trip. Tension mounts in the house until the situation abruptly––and viciously––intensifies, culminating in a shocking act that leaves Jen left for dead. Unfortunately for her assailants, Jen survives and reemerges with a relentless, wrathful intent: revenge.”
