ESSENTIAL TUNES TO SOUNDTRACK YOUR FRIDAY THE 13TH

Friday, July 13, 2018 | Audio Horror

The holiday’s iconic black cat has made its superstitious trip around the bend and another Friday the 13th has fallen upon us. Most horror fans will be celebrating this day with the obvious “FRIDAY THE 13TH” marathons, originally started by the glorious and nostalgic USA’s UP ALL NIGHT. Or perhaps you’ll be tuning into Shudder for the highly anticipated return of horror’s favorite knowledgeable cowboy, Joe Bob Briggs, and his 24-hour horror flick marathon.

Sadly, I’ll be busting my hump catering to hundreds of ink enthusiasts looking to get a Friday the 13th tattoo this year, (speaking of which, if this is you- please be friendly and tip your artist well; they are tired and deserve it!) So of course I’ll be missing out on some annual traditions for every horror aficionado. However, you bet your “goddamn enchiladas” I’ll be blasting some mandatory music that appeals to said horror holiday. I also may, or may not be caught robotic dancing in-between breaks.

Anyway, seeing as how I’m sure not everyone will be able to plop our dried up asses on a couch and enjoy some beloved film traditions, why not share, in what is my humble opinion, some mandatory background noise for Friday the 13th! And the answer to your question is yes. They are all related to that franchise. Happy Friday the 13th!
