This setpiece is part of a very different kind of possession picture.

AGNES, which takes the exorcism genre into fresh directions, will arrive in select theaters and on VOD this Friday, December 10 from Magnet Releasing. Directed by Mickey Reece and scripted by Reece and John Selvidge, following their acclaimed collaboration on CLIMATE OF THE HUNTER, it stars Molly Quinn, Jake Horowitz, Sean Gunn, Chris Browning, Ben Hall, Mary Buss and Chris Sullivan. The synopsis: “A nun’s disturbing behavior sparks rumors of demonic possession at a remote convent. When a priest-in-waiting and his disillusioned mentor are sent to investigate, their methods backfire, leaving a wake of terror and trauma.”
