Exclusive: Creeping Death Productions Goes Wyldeballs At The Upcoming Calgary Horror Con

Sunday, May 27, 2018 | Exclusive, Sunday, Bloody, Funday

Regina, Saskatchewan artist and owner of Creeping Death Productions, JC WYLDE shows his love for original ’80s rubber toys with his detailed WYLDEBALLS. Made of thick squeezable latex rubber, these horror-themed softball-sized creations are fully durable. But before you think of taking one down to the sandlot, keep n mind they are fashioned as pieces of art intended for display.

This first run of five familiar horror characters include a zombified version of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson (as he looked in the music video Thriller), Baby Freddy Krueger (from A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child), Tiny Firefly from Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses, Sam (Trick’R’Treat) and a John Carpenter-themed alien from the 1980’s classic They Live.

Priced at $50 USD, these WYLDEBALLS will be on hand at the Creeping Death booth along with many other horror surprises for the upcoming Calgary Horror Con this June 2-3 at Calgary’s Clarion Hotel. JC has revealed that he is also hard at work on a larger “boss” Wyldeball that is sure to be a hit; any guesses on who the character may be? (I will reveal it here exclusively first when completed)

The Curator of the Creepy collectibles. I've been an avid horror fan for over 3 decades. Meeting and writing about some of the finest artists from all over the world is a pure joy. I've written for multiple websites on the art and collectible front. The horror bug that lives inside me is well cared for and has been going strong since I watched my first introduction to horror through a grainy VHS copy of John Carpenter's 1978 classic film Halloween.
