Young people still won’t stop going to those old campgrounds…

Concept Media gave RUE MORGUE the first look at stills from MR. BUZZKILL, which is currently in production. Shawn Burkett, director of DON’T F*CK IN THE WOODS and its upcoming sequel, co-wrote this one with Rob Collins, who makes his directorial debut after creating special effects on WOODS 2 and Concept’s TRESPASSING. Burkett also plays the homicidal title role in MR. BUZZKILL, which stars Brittany Blanton, Kaylee Williams, Jason Crowe, Ian Beckroege, Celest Blandon, Jake Kopronica, Austin Ray Perry and Kayla Perkins. The synopsis: “Years ago, the small town of Silver Grove witnessed a massacre like no other and the legend of Mr. Buzzkill was born. Today, a group of friends from the town go to party at an old campground where they’re about to meet the ultimate party crasher…and slasher.”

“I don’t think you’re ever 100 percent ready to direct a film; something always happens!” Collins says. “But for my first time I think I was pretty prepared for everything. I just hope people enjoy the story and have fun watching!”

“We have about 75 percent of the movie shot and will finish filming soon,” adds producer Chris Gierowski. “We’ll be looking for digital distribution toward the end of the year on this new bloody romp!” And we’ll keep you posted on that!
