A new home holds horror for the heroine of ECHOES OF FEAR, a supernatural chiller that makes its East Coast and West Coast festival premieres next month. We’ve got the info and an exclusive first look at the teaser trailer.

ECHOES OF FEAR, which we previously told you about here, was directed and produced by Brian and Laurence Avenet-Bradley, the duo behind MALIGNANT, DARK REMAINS and others; Brian scripted and Laurence was director of photography. The movie stars Trista Robinson (THE HUMAN RACE) as Alisa, a woman who inherits her grandfather’s house and is confronted by supernatural forces tied to his death. Hannah Race, Marshal Hilton, Paul Chirico and Elif Savas also star; ECHOES has its world premiere at Los Angeles’ Shriekfest Friday, October 5 at 9 p.m., and has its East Coast premiere at the Women in Horror Film Festival in Atlanta Saturday, October 6 at 7 p.m.

“We’re thrilled to be having our world premiere at Shriekfest and the East Coast premiere the next day at Women in Horror,” Laurence tells RUE MORGUE. “It’s the first of our films that I’ve co-directed, so it means a lot to me. After all the years of hard work, it’s very exciting to be able to finally start sharing the film with audiences on the big screen! It’s their reaction that really counts, and we can’t wait to hear their response.”

The teaser seen below gives a taste of the movie’s horrors, though the Avenet-Bradleys were cautious not to reveal too much. “The less you know, the more suspenseful and scary the film is,” Brian says. “It’s always hard not to have movies spoiled these days, but we really want the festival audiences to have the fun of seeing the story unfold and not know where it’s headed.”
