Exclusive trailer and comments: Get some horror/action in “BLOOD, SWEAT AND TERRORS”

The people behind the fright anthologies MINUTES PAST MIDNIGHT and GALAXY OF HORRORS have a new collection of terror tales headed for release, this time with an actionful approach. Read on for the info, and an exclusive first look at the trailer and words from one of the creators.

Produced by Unstable Ground, Indiecan and (full disclosure) Rue Morgue, BLOOD, SWEAT AND TERRORS is the latest omnibus curated from the Little Terrors Short Film Festival. It features “nine bloodsoaked, ass-kicking tales of action and horror,” featuring actors like John Hannah (AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., SPARTACUS), Ed Speleers (A LONELY PLACE TO DIE), Neil Maskell (KILL LIST) and DEADPOOL 2/ATOMIC BLONDE director David Leitch, from directors Adam Mason, Adam Horton, Joe Horton, Beau Fowler, Alexandre Carriére, Shelagh Rowan-Legg, Benjamin de Los Santos, Will Gilbey, Olaf Svenson and Daniel Bernhardt. It arrives on VOD and DVD November 6 from Indiecan Entertainment (including special-edition disc), who created the trailer and poster seen below, while RLJE Films handles it in the U.S. (with alternate artwork and trailer).

“I’m very happy to be able to continue to put together these anthology releases, at the pace of one per year,” Unstable Ground’s Justin McConnell, who created the series with Indiecan’s Avi Federgreen, tells RUE MORGUE. “The goal has always been to bring the Little Terrors experience to people at home, while giving a platform to short filmmakers whose work may not be seen as widely otherwise. With this new release, those who like a lot of action mixed in with their dark genre elements should be extremely satisfied. We are already planning the fourth release to come out at some point next year, so please keep watching.”
