Full details for Cannon cult classic “NINJA III: THE DOMINATION” on new Scream Factory Blu-ray

One of the most entertainingly outrageous of all the Cannon Films productions of the 1980s, NINJA III: THE DOMINATION, which combines swordplay and the supernatural, is coming as a new Collector’s Edition Blu-ray this summer. Jump past the jump for the complete info and art.

Shout! Factory releases this updated NINJA III disc under its Scream Factory banner June 12. Directed by Sam Firstenberg, the movie stars Lucinda Dickey (from Cannon’s BREAKIN’ flicks) as an aerobics instructor/telephone line worker who becomes possessed by the spirit of an evil ninja after he’s gunned down by police. Only good ninja Yamada (Sho Kosugi, encoring from ENTER THE NINJA and REVENGE OF THE NINJA) can save her soul. The disc will present the movie in a 1.85:1 4K scan from the original film elements, accompanied by these bonus features:

  • New interview with actress Lucinda Dickey
  • New interview with actor Jordan Bennett
  • New interview with producer and stuntman Alan Amiel
  • New audio interviews with production designer Elliot Ellentuck and co-composer Misha Segal featuring isolated tracks from the original score
  • Audio commentary by director Sam Firstenberg and stunt coordinator Steve Lambert
  • Theatrical trailer (in HD) with optional TRAILERS FROM HELL commentary by screenwriter Josh Olson

Retail price is $27.99, but those who pre-order it from the Shout! website will get it for $24.99 with an exclusive poster, while supplies last.
