Full details revealed for Scream Factory “IDLE HANDS” Blu-ray

Underappreciated at the time of its release, IDLE HANDS now stands as one of the best horror/comedies of the ’90s, and it’s being celebrated with a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray. The complete specs have been revealed, and you can see them and the cover art after the jump.

Shout! Factory will release IDLE HANDS under its Scream Factory banner May 12. Directed by Rodman Flender, it stars Devon Sawa as a slacker teen whose right hand is taken over by a demonic force, with much black-comic mayhem ensuing; Seth Green, Elden Henson, Vivica A. Fox and, in one of her first roles, Jessica Alba co-star. The movie will be presented in 1080p hi-def 1.85:1 widescreen with DTS-HD Master Audio, accompanied by these special features:

  • New audio commentary by actors Devon Sawa, Seth Green, Elden Henson and Vivica A. Fox
  • New “Bloody Punk Fun”: an interview with director Rodman Flender
  • New “Stoner Headspace”: an interview with actor Elden Henson

Retail price is $29.99, and the disc can be pre-ordered at the Shout! website for $28.43; these orders will come with an exclusive 18×24-inch rolled poster with the new artwork while supplies last.
