The technological chiller is coming, unaltered and uncut, to theaters next month.

Neon has released the latest trailer as well as a new poster for POSSESSOR, which will begin playing indoor and drive-in theaters October 9. Written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg (ANTIVIRAL), it stars Andrea Riseborough (MANDY), Christopher Abbott (PIERCING), Rossif Sutherland, Tuppence Middleton, Sean Bean and Jennifer Jason Leigh (eXistenZ); Karim Hussain (WE ARE STILL HERE, HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN) was the cinematographer. According to the official synopsis, “POSSESSOR is an arresting sci-fi thriller about elite corporate assassin Tasya Vos [Riseborough]. Using brain-implant technology, Vos takes control of other people’s bodies to execute high profile targets. As she sinks deeper into her latest assignment Vos becomes trapped inside a mind that threatens to obliterate her.”
