From the chilly climes of Iceland comes a new vampire thriller, hot off a tour of festivals like ScreamFest and London’s FrightFest.

Uncork’d Entertainment has announced a December 1 digital and DVD release date for THIRST, directed by Steinþór Hróar Steinþórsson and Gaukur Úlfars from a script by Björn Leó Brynjarsson. Hjörtur Sævar Steinason, Jens Jensson, Hulda Lind Kristinsdóttir, Ester Sveinbjarnardóttir, Birgitta Sigursteinsdóttir, and Birna Halldórsdóttir star: the synopsis: “The addict Hulda [Kristinsdóttir] is arrested and accused of murdering her brother. After she is let go because of insufficient evidence, she meets Hjörtur [Steinason], a thousand-year-old gay vampire. Together they fight a cult while being investigated by a rogue detective.”
