Fresh from terrifying audiences in theaters, Ari Aster’s breakout horror feature HEREDITARY comes to home video in September; read on for the complete specs, cover art and new trailer.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment releases HEREDITARY September 4 in a 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (plus Blu-ray and Digital), Blu-ray Combo Pack (plus DVD and Digital) and DVD. Highlighted by Toni Collette’s memorably unhinged lead performance, the movie also stars Gabriel Byrne, Milly Shapiro, Alex Wolff and Ann Dowd in the story of a family breaking down into madness and worse following the death of their matriarch (see our review here). The discs will present the movie in 2.00:1 widescreen (2160p high definition in the Ultra HD edition, 1080p high definition on the regular Blu-ray), with DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio on the Ultra HD and Blu-ray and Dolby 5.1 Audio on the DVD. The special features are:

  • Nine deleted scenes
  • “Cursed: The True Nature of HEREDITARY” featurette
  • “Evil in Miniature” photo gallery

Retail prices are $42.99 for the Ultra HD Combo Pack, $39.99 for the Blu-ray Combo Pack and $29.95 for the DVD.
