The latest mind-bender from the creators of RESOLUTION, SPRING and THE ENDLESS is coming to theaters next month–and those filmmakers are advising to proceed with caution.

Deadline broke the news that Well Go USA will open SYNCHRONIC in theaters October 23, with a digital release to follow in January. The movie will play both indoor venues and drive-ins, and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who directed from Benson’s script, and producer David Lawson released this statement on Twitter:

SYNCHRONIC stars Jamie Dornan and Anthony Mackie as a pair of New Orleans paramedics who discover deaths tied to the titular designer street drug. As they investigate, they discover first-hand Synchronic’s bizarre, hallucinatory and potentially deadly effects. The film also stars Katie Aselton (SHE DIES TOMORROW), Ally Ioannides and Bill Oberst Jr.; see our review of SYNCHRONIC here.
