Kids’ creature feature “LITTLE MONSTERS” coming to Blu-ray on Lionsgate’s Vestron line; details & art

No relation to the recent Lupita Nyong’o zombie comedy, or the just-announced Universal project, 1989’s cult favorite LITTLE MONSTERS is getting a hi-def disc upgrade fully loaded with bonus features.

Lionsgate will issue LITTLE MONSTERS on Blu-ray and digital September 15 as part of its Vestron Video Collector’s Series. Directed by Richard Alan Greenberg from a script by Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN), it stars Fred Savage as a sixth-grader who makes friends with the creature (Howie Mandel) dwelling under his bed, who takes him to a world of monsters that’s both fun and frightening. The movie will be presented in 1080p high-definition 1.78:1 widescreen, with DTS-HD 2.0 Master Audio. Special features are:
