Marcel Walz’s Angel-Faced Killer Is Back In “Pretty Boy”

Following up last year’s Blind, Marcel Walz (Blood Feast 2016) brings his masked killer back to the screen in the Valentine’s Day-themed PRETTY BOY. Written by Joe Knetter, the film follows the story set in motion in Blind, wherein a newly sightless former actress (Sarah French) did battle with the ax-wielding psychopath. PRETTY BOY again stars French alongside Heather Grace Hancock (Wicked City) Devanny Pinn (The Dawn), Robert Rusler (Weird Science), Mary Olsen (Percy Jackson and the Olympians), and newcomers Jake Red and Andrew Rohrbach. Jed Rowen returns as “Pretty Boy,” himself.

Knetter had this to say about the return of the instantly-iconic character:

“Filming PRETTY BOY was an amazing experience. Every single person on the cast and crew brought their ‘A’ game. Getting back on set safely was our number one priority and we worked hard to make sure it was a great experience for everyone. The sets we built at Wolfpack Studios took me right back to that world we previously set up. I will admit, the first time I saw Faye and Pretty Boy back together I teared up a bit. BLIND is our version of a slow-burn 70’s style drama/suspense film. PRETTY BOY is a total 80’s horror slasher.”

PRETTY BOY has just completed principal photography and is slated for release later this year.
