Netflix rolls out new poster for Zack Snyder’s “ARMY OF THE DEAD” and reveals theatrical play

Befitting the Vegas setting, there’s a flashy new one-sheet for the undead epic that will premiere next month on Netflix–and beyond.

ARMY OF THE DEAD, which marks director Zack Snyder’s return to the zombie genre after his feature debut with the DAWN OF THE DEAD remake, will premiere on Netflix May 21 and play select theaters in May as well. Snyder scripted with Shay Hatten and Joby Harold; Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick (pictured), Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, Samantha Win, Richard Cetrone and Michael Cassidy star. The synopsis: “Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”
