Following its world premiere in the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto International Film Festival, the grisly horror/comedy MOM AND DAD, starring Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair, has been set for U.S. release next year.

Momentum Pictures will release MOM AND DAD to select theaters and on VOD January 19, 2018. Written and directed by Brian Taylor (one-half of the Taylor/Neveldine team that helmed the CRANK movies and the Cage vehicle GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE) and shot by Daniel Pearl (who DP’d both the original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and the remake), the movie also stars Anne Winters, Zackary Arthur, Lance Henriksen, Robert Cunningham, Olivia Crocicchia, Rachel Melvin, Samantha Lemole, Joseph D. Reitman and Marilyn Dodds Frank. Set in suburbia, the movie is about an outbreak of mass hysteria that turns parents homicidally against their children, and the efforts of a teenage girl (Winters) and her younger brother (Arthur) to survive against their crazed folks (Cage and Blair). Look for more on MOM AND DAD as it nears release!
