Nicolas Cage is haunted again in “BETWEEN WORLDS”; trailer, poster, release info

The supernatural just won’t leave Nicolas Cage alone, and his latest travails can be seen in BETWEEN WORLDS, coming next month. Check out the details, trailer and poster after the jump.

Saban Films releases BETWEEN WORLDS to theaters in New York, Los Angeles and other cities December 21, following a VOD debut December 18. Written and directed by Maria Pulera, the movie also stars Franka Potente (RUN LOLA RUN), Penelope Mitchell, Garrett Clayton, Lydia Hearst (CONDEMNED), Brit Shaw and Hopper Penn (son of Sean and Robin Wright), with music by TWIN PEAKS’ Angelo Badalamenti. The synopsis: “Joe [Cage] is a struggling truck driver haunted by the memory of his deceased wife and daughter. Joe’s life takes a dramatic turn when he meets Julia [Potente], a woman with mysterious spiritual powers, whose daughter Billie [Mitchell] lies in a coma. Julia enlists Joe’s help to stop Billie from crossing over to the spirit world, but when Billie awakes, her body is possessed—by the vengeful spirit of Joe’s dead wife.”
