There are disturbing tales to be told among those who visit this bar.

Gravitas Ventures will release THE OAK ROOM on digital and cable VOD April 2. Winner of Best Canadian Feature at last year’s Fantasia International Film Festival and produced by the genre specialists at Black Fawn Films and Breakthrough Entertainment, it was directed by Cody Calahan and written by Peter Genoway, based on his play. RJ Mitte, Peter Outerbridge, Ari Millen, Martin Roach, Nicholas Campbell and David Ferry star; the synopsis: “During a raging snowstorm, a drifter returns home to the blue-collar bar located in the remote town where he was born. When he offers to settle an old debt with a grizzled bartender by telling him a story, the night’s events quickly spin into a dark tale of mistaken identities, double-crosses and shocking violence.”
