AMC Networks’ RLJE Films, the distributor behind such recent genre features as Superhost, Prisoners of Ghostland, and the upcoming Karen Gillan vehicle Dual,  and streamer Shudder have acquired the North American rights to the horror film, ALLEGORIA ahead of its world premiere at Panic Fest. The feature directorial debut of Powerman 5000 frontman Spider One (aka. Michael Cummings, the younger brother of musician and filmmaker Rob Zombie), who also wrote the script, ALLEGORIA stars Krsy Fox (Frank), Adam Busch (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Bryce Johnson (Pretty Little Liars), and Scout Compton (Halloween). As detailed in a press release, the film focuses on a group of artists whose “lives become unwittingly entangled as their obsessions and insecurities manifest monsters, demons and death.”

“Collaborating with emerging filmmakers/artists like Spider One is a top priority for us,” says Mark Ward, Chief Acquisitions Officer of RLJE Films. “We couldn’t be more proud to debut his first film. He is a great talent with a unique vision.”

ALLEGORIA will be released on VOD, digital, and streaming on Shudder on August 2, 2022. Check out the gruesome shot of Krsy Fox below!
