The actor recently seen in BAD HAIR is behind the camera for this project.

Variety reports that Robin Thede scripted KILLING IT and will produce the movie for Amazon Studios through her For Better or Words banner, teamed with Jax Media’s Tony Hernandez, John Hodges and Brooke Posch. A director has not been announced for the film, which is described as “SHAUN OF THE DEAD meets GIRLS TRIP.” According to the trade, “The story revolves around a group of underachieving friends who find themselves overrun by zombies while they are in Atlanta to visit Spelman College, 10 years after they dropped out of the prestigious HBCU women’s school.” Thede also created HBO’s Emmy-nominated A BLACK LADY SKETCH SHOW.
