Shudder Reveals Alternate Art For “QUEER FOR FEAR”

Thursday, August 25, 2022 | News

By WILLIAM J. WRIGHT

Shudder has just released a series of stunning images by photographer Tayo Kuko to promote the upcoming premiere of QUEER FOR FEAR, executive producer Bryan Fuller‘s (Hannibal) four-part documentary series exploring the history of the LGBTQ+ community in the horror and thriller genres.

From the literary influence of authors such as Oscar Wilde to the modern era of expanded LGBTQ+ representation in film and TV, QUEER FOR FEAR re-examines genre stories through a  queer lens, seeing them not as violent, murderous narratives, but as tales of survival that resonate thematically with queer audiences.

QUEER FOR FEAR debuts on September 30, only on Shudder.  Keep scrolling to see the all-new poster art.

Mayhem Miller as “Reanimated Bride”

Lea DeLaria as “Hitchcock”

Saturn Risin9 as “Painted Vampire”
