Shudder has set a March 4 release for LUCKY, an Epic Pictures/Dread Presents production, in the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, as well as via the Shudder offering within the AMC+ bundle where available. A highlight of last year’s festival circuit (including Fantasia, FrightFest, Sitges, SXSW and Nightstream), it’s the second film directed by IMITATION GIRL’s Natasha Kermani, and also stars Dhruv Uday Singh, Kausar Mohammed and Hunter C. Smith. The synopsis: “Life takes a sudden turn for May [Grant], a popular self-help book author, when she finds herself the target of a mysterious man [Smith] with murderous intentions. Every night, without fail he comes after her, and every day the people around her barely seem to notice. With no one to turn to, May is pushed to her limits and must take matters into her own hands to survive and to regain control of her life.”  Grant talks about LUCKY and also 12 HOUR SHIFT, which she wrote and directed, here.
