Shudder’s social-media chiller “SHOOK” sees wider release next month; new art

You’ll be able to log on to the terror on different platforms soon.

RLJE Films has announced that it will release SHOOK, which premiered on Shudder early this year, on VOD/digital platforms and DVD August 17. Written and directed by Jennifer Harrington, it stars Daisye Tutor, Emily Goss, Nicola Posener and Octavius J. Johnson. The synopsis: “When Mia [Tutor], a social media star, becomes the target of an online terror campaign, she’s forced to solve a series of games to prevent people she cares about from getting murdered. But is it real? Or is it just a game at her expense?” The DVD includes a behind-the-scenes photo gallery and has a retail price of $27.97.
