Teaser trailers and posters introduce you to British “GHOST STORIES,” with Martin Freeman

Actor Martin Freeman, from Edgar Wright’s Cornetto Trilogy, TV’s SHERLOCK, the HOBBIT films et al., is part of the cast of the supernatural chiller GHOST STORIES, coming next year from IFC Films under the IFC Midnight banner. GHOST STORIES is undated for the U.S., and will see release in Britain April 13, 2018. Andy Nyman (who also stars as Professor Goodman) and Jeremy Dyson wrote and directed based on their play, and the cast additionally includes Paul Whitehouse, Alex Lawther, Jill Halfpenny, Nicholas Burns, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith and Daniel Hill. The synopsis: “Professor Goodman, a psychologist and skeptic, who has his rationality tested when he stumbles across a long-lost file containing details of three terrifying hauntings. He then embarks on a mission to find rational explanations for the ghostly happenings.”
