The soundtrack to George A. Romero‘s 1981 modernized and motorized take on the legend of King Arthur is finally available on vinyl courtesy of Scare Flair Records. Featuring Donald Rubinstein‘s stirring score, this long-awaited release (described as “years in the making”) also features the classic poster art by Boris Vallejo and all-new artwork by RUE MORGUE’s founding art director, Ghoulish Gary Pullin.

An astounding package of rare music and art, the Scare Flair release of “KNIGHTRIDERS” comes with the complete score on X2LP inside a gatefold jacket, 11×11 Program of Events insert, exclusive liner notes by composer Donald Rubinstein and features some very early guitar work from jazz legend Bill Frisell.

Retailing for $40 (USD), the soundtrack is currently available in two colored vinyl variants: “Fighting the Dragon” on hand-poured 180g vinyl with red, black & orange, and yellow discs and a “Brother Blue” edition on transparent blue 150g vinyl, limited to 50 units only (limit one per household).
