“THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CHILDREN” in Roxanne Benjamin’s upcoming Blumhouse chiller

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the release of THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CHILDREN on VOD/digital platforms January 17, 2023, followed by a debut on MGM+ March 17, 2023. It’s part of a deal between Blumhouse Television and MGM+ to co-produce eight original films, similar to the WELCOME TO THE BLUMHOUSE movies for Amazon and the INTO THE DARK series for Hulu. Roxanne Benjamin (pictured) of SOUTHBOUND, BODY AT BRIGHTON ROCK and Shudder’s CREEPSHOW directed CHILDREN from a script by T.J. Cimfel and Dave White (INTRUDERS); Alisha Wainwright, Zach Gilford, Amanda Crew, Carlos Santos, Briella Guiza and David Mattle star; the synopsis: “When Margaret [Wainwright] and Ben [Gilford] take a weekend trip with longtime friends Ellie [Crew] and Thomas [Santos] and their two young children [Guiza and Mattle], Ben begins to suspect something supernatural is occurring when the kids behave strangely after disappearing into the woods overnight.”
